Ananganmala is situated in Ottapalam forest range under palakkad forest division.This spot is located 45 km from palakkad and 15km away from ottapalam and total extent of the hill area is 2500 acres and the whole area is under the control of forest department . The wide range lush green forest occupies varieties of wild life and plants.Among the usual plants and wild life everyone can also spot medicinal plants.
Bharathappuzha, also known as the Nila or Ponnani River, is a river in India in the state of Kerala. With a length of 209 km, it is the second longest river that flows through Kerala after the Periyar. It flows through Palakkad Gap, which is also the largest opening in the Kerala portion of Western Ghats.
Kerala Kalamandalam, deemed to be University of Art and Culture by the Government of India, is a major center for learning Indian performing arts, especially those that developed in the Southern states of India, with the special emphasis on Kerala. It is situated in the small town of Cheruthuruthi in Thrissur, Thrissur District on the banks of the Bharathapuzha river.
The Kunchan Nambiar Smarakam, the memorial at his birthplace incorporating his ancestral Kalakkath house in Killikkurissiimangalam, Lakkidi, was opened in 1976. The memorial, which is an initiative of the Government of Kerala, includes a kalithattu (stage) for staging Thullal and other art forms, a library and a museum. The museum displays traditional Thullal costumes and paraphernalia.
An aqueduct that has appeared in many Malayalam movies is now a big tourist attraction here. Kizhoor aqueduct is located in a place surrounded by paddy fields, palms and forested hills. Panamanna Sree Sankaranarayana temple is located at around 7 km northwest of Ottapalam in Kerala. The io-day annual festival at Panamanna Sree Sankaranarayana Temple begins with flag hoisting or kodiyettam in Kumbham month. Utsava bali is observed on the 6th day of the festival. Ettam Vilakku is an important day. Pallivetta is observed on the 9th day of the festival.

The heritage village where 68-year-old Ramankutty Kothavil’s home is located, is etched in the hearts of those who follow Kathakali, the famous dance drama of Kerala. Local lore has it, that at least one person in every house of the quaint village of Vellinezhi, has something to do with Kathakali. The intricate headgear, bracelets and other ornaments worn by the Kathakali artistes are also made in this village.
Adakkaputhur is a beautiful hamlet at Vellinezhi in Palakkad district, and is situated around 25 km north of Ottapalam. Perhaps a less known fact is that this village is known for its handmade ‘Adakkaputhur metal mirror’ which enjoys a prime status due to its unique craftsmanship. These mirrors are mainly made by craftsmen hailing from a community known as ‘Moosari’ who make ornaments, utensils and kitchen implements in bronze or brass.

Our Ayurvedic Centre & Spa designed based on the norms of Kerala Government’s “Ayur Gold Certification” for its approved Ayurvedic Centres.
Kerala is home to Ayurveda, and it is said that Ayurveda originated in Kerala, many thousands of years ago. And that is why Ayurveda is synonymous with Kerala and one will find many famous Ayurvedic treatment centres in Kerala.
So, in order to regulate and ensure that quality Kerala Ayurvedic treatment and therapy is extended to one and all, the Government of Kerala introduced classifying categories that in a way is a good rating system for people to identify the best Ayurvedic centre in Kerala.
The Kerala Government in conjunction with the Kerala State Department of Tourism has framed a couple clauses for effectively classifying the Ayurvedic treatment centres in Kerala. And based on the criteria and standards, the Green Leaf accreditation is extended to the Ayurvedic centre that has applied for the certification. It is given for a period of 3 years and the same is renewable every three years.
Ayurveda is a traditional system of medicine from India that focuses on promoting wellness of body, mind, and spirit. It combines lifestyle changes, diet, and exercise. Ayurvedic herbs and spices play a crucial role. Treatment includes an internal purification process, dietary adjustments, herbal remedies, massage therapy, yoga, and meditation. Central concepts are the doshas (Vata, Pitta, Kapha), which influence an individual's constitution (prakriti), and the holistic approach to health. Charak is known as the father of Ayurveda or the father of Ayurvedic medicine. He wrote a book named Charak Samhita, on medicine which contained the description of a large number of diseases and discusses their treatment. Ayurveda, the traditional medical system of India, has delineated three categories of fundamental regulatory principles of the body, mind, and behavior. These three categories, called doshas, are named Vata, Pitta, and Kapha.
Panchakarma is the purification therapy through which body gets cleansed to the deepest tissue level by eliminating the vitiated dosas.
The word ‘PANCHA’ means five and ‘KARMA’ means action. Panchakarma consists of five specialized therapies. Acharya Charaka and Vagbhata considers VAMANA, VIRECHANA, NASYA, NIRUHA, and ANUVASANA VASTI as panchakarma. while there is a slight difference in opinion by Acharya Sushruta who is considered as the father of surgery in Ayurveda. Since he deals with surgery, he has given equal importance to blood along with the 3 dosas so he has included a procedure to eliminate the vitiated blood as one among the Panchakarma. It is called RAKTHAMOKSHA.
According to Acharya Sushruta VAMANA, VIRECHANA, NASYA, VASTI, and RAKTHAMOKSHA are known as panchakarma.
